If you play Dress to Impress regularly, you’ve probably seen a lot of fishnets used in outfits. But do you know how to actually get them? Let’s discover about it together.
What are Fishnets?
Fishnets are a fabric with an open mesh knit, often diamond-shaped. You can see fishnets with tiny holes, and others with large ones. As you can imagine, fishnets are decorative (it most likely won’t protect you from cold weather 🤔)
But it can add a very nice edgy, rock vibe to an outfit.
In real life, you can wear fishnets on your legs, or your arms. And in Dress to Impress, you can do the same.
Fishnets in Dress to Impress
You can not get fishnets in Dress to Impress, but you can make them.
Leg Fishnets
To make leg fishnets, we will use the stockings, and apply patterns onto them.
- First, select the stockings to wear them. You can choose the stockings, or legging, it’s up to you. You should test it with your outfit to see the one that fits best to your needs.
- Now, customize the stockings with patterns while wearing them. If you scroll down, you’ll see patterns that look like fishnets. They’re actually just a mix of black and colors mimicking skin colors. Choose the pattern that resembles the skin color of your model the best.
- And there you have it! Simple, right ?
Arm Fishnets
To get arm fishnets, we use the same trick, but with sleeves !
We can use different sorts of sleeves and apply the same patterns we’ve just used for the leg fishnets. You can use the sleeves that you prefer!
The patterns can be applied to any of them. It is, of course, best if you choose tight sleeves. (depending on the look you’re going for)
- Extra tip : make sure to check the toggles! 🙂 In the example I’m showing here, the short sleeves are a toggle of the long pink long sleeves.
Final look
